Then, Now & Next is a glorious new British musical from writers Christopher J Orton and Jon Robyns starring a phenomenal cast led by Alice Fearn and directed by Julie Atherton.

Struggling with a difficult past, Alex Shaw is attempting to take steps forward after a decade experiencing the highs and lows of love and loss. We follow her journey through two loves – young idealist Stephen, and the older, reliable Peter – as she gathers the scattered chapters of her life, re-building her story and asking if she will ever be more than just fine. Thoughtful, tender and very funny, this musical hits hard but is full of love and hope.

A fresh and original 21st century musical that we can all relate to, Then Now and Next is heart-warming, heart-breaking and hilarious and playing a limited season at Southwark Playhouse Borough until 29th July.
